1965 Mustang EV Conversion

I am also almost finished working on a 1965 Mustang electric vehicle conversion for Mark Juliar in New York state.

Just working out the final bugs in the system now – it is the first AC conversion that I have been involved with! 312VDC of lithium iron phosphate batteries, an Azure Dynamics motor and controller/inverter, a Manzanita Micro PFC-20 charger, with an EVision battery monitor by MetricMind Corp. The Battery Management System is made by EVPower in Australia.

It’s been a BIG challenge for me, and has taken much longer than I anticipated to do – Thanks, Mark, for your patience on that! I plan to post some pictures on this site soon.

I am the owner of GREMCO, and we are still here, despite many struggles the last several years. At the end of 2006, I shut down and sold the property north of Brooks, and moved everything to my house, laid off all my employees (permanently), and tried to run the company by doing all the work myself out of my own home. With the current economic crisis, it’s been hard; but with the help of friends, we have managed to keep the wolf away from the door thus far.

I am still doing pump service, mostly domestic pumps and water systems, installing tanks, filters and softeners for anyone that calls. I am also doing a little electric work; I have the help of some former employees for that if I need it, on a part-time basis.

Contact me if you need assistance in any of these areas:

Thanks!
